When I first sat down with Paige and Jake for coffee it was instantly apparent that that they were the type of people who exude warmth and care deeply for the people in their lives. They hug you (and mean it!) when they meet you and I knew immediately they would be an incredible couple to work with. Last spring we headed to the Frenchtown hills to a meaningful spot they often take their dogs, for a super playful engagement session. By the end of it my assistant Jane and I could hardly wait for the wedding, knowing how kind and infectious and in love these two are. The Wedding day arrived and could not have offered better weather! It felt like the sun was shining down just for these two and their families. Paige and Jake are both sincere family people and it was truly touching to see how special it was for them to have their loved ones all in one place to show support. My heart nearly burst along with every one of the guests when a slideshow of childhood memories played as a surprise for the parents during the first dances. I have never seen anything like this planned before and I don’t think I saw a dry eye. Such an incredible testament to how much these two love their families. One touching moment was when Paige, her mother and both of her grandmothers held their hands together for a multi-generational ring photo that gave me all the feels! Sometimes a wedding just feels so genuine and ceremonial and this was absolutely one of those magical days. So happy for this perfect for each other couple, congrats Paige and Jake!
