Shannon + Lonnie

Shannon and Lonnie got married amidst their loving community of friends and family in Belgrade, MT at the super cool and rustic “Big Yellow Barn”. These two could not be cuter together, and their love story is just the best! When you ask them how they met they will answer that they have no idea. Their first date was when Lonnie invited Shannon to watch the Rodeo Nationals at a gas station bar and although Shannon jokes that this wasn’t the most romantic (but so cute) their spark began to grow. The relationship hilariously became official when Lonnie called her his girlfriend to avoid being hit on by another girl at a bar and it stuck! Shannon jokes about the anti-romance of their story but in all honesty, not everyone is lucky enough to love each other the way these two do and it’s pretty darn sweet to watch. Everyone ought to look at each other the way Lonnie looks at his life love. I got to see even more of this when we shot a little morning after session at the charming newlywed cabin nearby. They snuggled up by the wood stove and made coffee together and were irresistibly adorable. The day of the wedding itself was an actual record breaker for low temperatures (it snowed in September!) but not even the sleet and chill could dampen the spirits of these incredibly sweet families coming together to celebrate the Tyree marriage. Shannons grandmother got to meet the true cowboys she always wanted to meet (there were so many winning mustaches and cowboy hats) and everyone was feeling the love. Shannon was an absolute trooper in the cold in her stunning gown. I adored getting to know these two along with their loving families, huge congrats Shannon and Lonnie!
